Today someone exclaimed to me:
"You're about to pop! When are you going to pop?!"
To which I calmly replied, "early November. Yup, still three more months to go."
But last time I checked, pregnant women don't pop. Unless I'm grossly mistaken about what happens when its time for the baby to actually arrive.
This is a horrible saying/question and all use of such saying should immediately cease.
Balloons pop. Women, do not.
I guess he was saying I look like a balloon.
Hum. How about that.
Typical male reaction to pregnancy---kind of hard for them to relate when they will never b walk in our"pregnant" shoes.
ReplyDeleteSo, people are crazy. Men I kinda can forgive they have never been pregnant. The women should just know better :) I gained 40 lbs in 33 weeks, Dylan was born 7 weeks early, I would have gained what? maybe 15-20 MORE lbs. So I got it all, "Are you having twins, Are you sure" " You are due in APRIL?" (it was Jan.) Did you ever see pictures of Mary S. (you know who I am talking about, better not call her out in case she is reading, lol) pregnant? Poor Mary gained between 70-80 lbs. but look at her now that sassy little thing!!
